I recently watched Joss Whedon's TV ser...Nod,<br /> I recently watched Joss Whedon's TV series "Dollhouse" that seems to be based on this idea.<br /> I'm not sure that the show is actually based on the book "Players" in particular, since there's a novel by Neil Gaiman called "Doll's House." I'll have to look into it to find out.<br /> Anyway, I liked the show because it was good Sci-Fi: it completely explored the technological, social and moral implications of the premise. <br /> There was sex in the show, because you really can't get away from it with a premise like that, but I wouldn't say it was graphic (from what I remember). So, with that one caveat, I'd recommend the show to you; you might enjoy it.<br /> As for the "Players", it's probably better than the TV series (as books are wont to be), so I might read it when I feel like I can deal with its explicitness.<br /><br />--ShoeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
